Now if you were to replace every inner incandescent bulb with this fictitious travel trailer using a 24 LED array warm shade lamp, each drawing 190 mA, the total power consumption drops to 3.8 amps, over 5 times less power consumption. Another cool LED mod is to match a LED rope light beneath your RVs countertop. Many upscale RVs have this feature as a standard option but there is no point you can't have this classy look either. And then get some double-sided tape then stick it to the cabinet or underneath the countertop where you want the rope to run. If you have any remaining rope, drill a hole the size of the rope's dimension and run the excess through the hole. Just glue the rope to the tape and press strongly. You can also add up a switch to manage the rope power as well.
Outside compartments are also a great candidate for LED lights. These can be driven through a pin switch so that when you open up the compartment door, the light turns on, and then off when you shut the door. The color of the LED light is not so significant as is the location of the light. Storage compartments are usually rectangular in shape, so try and place the LEDs near the corners of the compartment. This manner, you will get the most light to all parts of the storage space.
